UPDATE!!!! HUGE NEWS!

After 4 years in boarding and 3 months in a 5 star foster home, Ariel is officially adopted! This was truly a team effort! We rescued Ariel from the euth list at a Tennessee shelter that would not adopt her out due to BSL. After some time without interest we asked Foster Dogs NYC for help. For years we networked this brindle beauty together. Ariel even

had her own TPR volunteer run Facebook page dedicated to finding her a home called ‘Rescue Ariel’ with an unparalleled community behind her of over 3000 supporters! Then, Foster Dogs NYC started a new program called #OperationFosterBound and included Ariel as a participant. Through the program, Ariel finally got her big break, a foster home! Through this program an additional army of advocates rushed to Ariel’s side, including Elsie and Rik (her foster parents), Susie’s Senior Dogs, Calm Energy Dog Training, Den Dog Beds, Adopt-a-Doodle Cartoons, Wisdom Panel, PetSafe, Milla Chappell of Real Happy Dogs, NYC’s Top Dog, North Gate Animal Hospital, Faithful Friends Animal Hospital, and many more!

Her foster mother writes in her announcement on Instagram, “Guess what?? After 4 years in a kennel and 3 months in foster care, Ariel has finally been adopted!!🎉🎉Of course, I’m sad to say goodbye to her, but I’m happy knowing that she’ll live out the rest of her life with a family that will love

Meet Ariel. This precious 7 year old 60ish lbs brindle rottie staffie mix has a world of love to give! Ariel absolutely LOVES humans and children. With a heart of gold, Ariel will even let you play with her and her food dish while she is eating and loves to dress up in any costume or outfit! What a gem! Who could ever resist those soulful eyes, perky smile, and expressive ears? She looks forward to the day she can play, snuggle, and spoil her human! At this time, Ariel lives in a boarding facility. This is no life for any dog. Unfortunately, and by no fault of her own, the right family has yet to come along for her.

Before she was dumped in a high kill shelter, the only life she knew was as a breeding machine and mommy. Once her ‘family’ no longer had any use for her, they dumped her in a rural TN shelter. Not only was she abandoned and on death row, but she was stuck in a location where it is ILLEGAL to adopt our a dog with any pit in them. Inevitably, Ariel was scheduled for death. Needless to say, Ariel did not die that day. She began a new life as a Twenty Paws dog. At a convenient 60 lbs, this doll yearns to finally know what its like to be someone’s baby. She cared for so many in the past, and they were all stolen from her. No one cared for her at all.

She lavished at her newly found freedom and second chance. Eternally grateful to the vet staff for their determination to improve her health, Ariel showers them with kisses and wiggles. Truly, now it is her turn to experience love and affection.

Every night, Ariel dreams that someone will be her hero. Every night, she dreams that she can become part of a family. Could it be your family? Ariel found a foster home trough Foster Dogs NYC’s program, Operation Foster Bound. She is doing so well. Ariel proved herself to be a mellow and calm girl who enjoys leisurely walks, cuddling with you, and laying on the couch. She alreadys had her first professional training session and excelled. She would be fine living with a calm older dog or perfect as an only pet. Want a lazy adult dog who will keep you company and love you forever, unconditionally? This is your girl!
