Asha is a 5 month old Jindo mix girl who arrived from South Korea on May 6. Since her arrival, Asha is having a hard time transitioning. Her fosters in SK describe Asha as outgoing, friendly, affectionate, and wonderful. Sadly, here she is terrified with the changes and needs a patient foster that will give her time, space, and peace of mind. While in her current foster ( a dog day care), she was very stressed. She ended up jumping over a baby gate, falling, and breaking her front leg. She needed surgery to correct the fractures and will need some follow up care, which we are paying for. This only added to Asha’s fear and distrust of people.

Since her current foster is a dog day care, this is not the ideal place for her to relax and heal. She should be in a home environment where there arent other animals. It’s just not conducive to her.

Originally, she was found in a forest with her 3 siblings and mom. Her siblings are adopted. Unfortunately, her mother was euthanized due to high aggression. So sad.

Ideally, she should go to an adult only home with no other pets.
