Chucky is a 58lb, 12 year old, hamburger loving senior pit mix boy. He is an avid fan of walks and playtime, and needs no coaxing to enjoy life! He has much left in him! When he sees the leash, Chucky will perk up and wag his tail with joy at the prospect of exploring the neighborhood. Have a toy? Chucky loves balls and squeaky toys! Ready to roll around in the grass or toss them in the air.
All in all, Chucky is an easygoing dog. He is people friendly, affectionate, a lover of kisses, and playful. Furthermore, Chucky is dog friendly (cats unknown), house trained, crate trained, and trustworthy when home alone.
Chucky isn’t usually bothered if his food or treats are touched or taken away. However, he will gently grab the person’s hand with his mouth and move it away so that his food isn’t taken away.
We rescued Chucky from the city shelter, where he was found to have skin and ear infections. Since coming to our care, he was treated for all and is healthy as can be!
Please note that Chucky is reported to be fearful of children so he needs to be in an adult only home.
If you’re looking for a medium-energy dog who is equally happy sitting next to you on the couch as going for a pleasant stroll, Chucky could be the one for you!
