Didi is a precious chihuahua mix boy. Just under 11 lbs and 6 years old, this boy is a doll to those he knows, loves, and trusts. Poor Didi had a traumatic first 6 years to life. When he was younger, someone fell on his leg. Now, it is bowed. This doesn’t stop our little spunky man from living his best life, though! Didi is unencumbered with his former injury and wears it like a badge of courage.
In his foster home, Didi lives with dogs and cats. He adores his siblings- human and fur. Due to his past, it does take time for Didi to trust a person. But, be patient and this will pay off. He LOVES belly rubs, toys, and wagging his tail. Didi is also a food man and has a small resemblance to Jabba the Hutt.
Given his history, Didi would to best in an adult only home or with dog saavy kids.
Didi was an owner surrender to the NYACC- we rescued him when he was deemed unadoptable. His foster mother did amazing work with him and Didi is ready to have his forever home. When we rescued him, he was very ill. After receiving the right treatment, he is happier than ever!
