Jay is a salt and pepper terrier mix with a heart of gold. About 37 lbs, 2 years old, and full of love, Jay is a reserved boy who wants to share his affection with those he loves and trusts the most. He does get along well with other dogs, his best friend is a pittie in our care named Luigi, and cats. His eyes are big brown Hershey kisses and his expressive face will lead you into the labyrinth of his soul. Jay found himself in a kill shelter because his former human couldn’t care for him anymore. She would constantly let him loose outside and animal control would bring him back. After this occurred multiple times, she decided to surrender him into the shelter. While she did love him, she could not care for him. Luckily, Jay did not suffer at the shelter for long because we found his face irresistible.
