Hubba! Hubba! Look at this show stopping boy! JJ is our stunning 3 year old, 125lb, Rottie boy. Unlike other Rotties, JJ has a long luxurious tail that never stops wagging. He is a happy, smiley, and intelligent giant. While he does love his humans, JJ takes time to warm up to and trust new people. Once he does, though, JJ is your fiercely loyal companion. When meeting other dogs, JJ is calm and, generally, ignores them. We did not see him engage in play with them, yet. However, he remains calm, when they are around. JJ is exceptionally smart and eager to please his person- he will do anything for a snack! Offer him a snack or his favorite toy and JJ will show off all his commands! JJ loves his little stuffed tiger. We ask that you are willing to adopt them as a pair!
The ideal home for JJ is an adult only one. His future human(s) should have breed or large dog experience, patient, and allow him time to trust them. He will thrive in a structured environment that will continue training sessions with him. JJ is house broken and does very well in the care. He isn’t the biggest fan of the crate, but is trustworthy when left alone.
JJ was seized from the property he was kept in and deemed an abuse case. The conditions he was subjected to were deplorable. Months before rescue, JJ’s owner abandoned him on the property, leaving him chained in a yard with a dilapidated dog house with no food or water. JJ will never know suffering again!
