Theodore, aka Teddy, is a golden haired 6ish year old 50lb Chow Chow mix. He was found abandoned at an NYC police station. The officers could not bear to have him turned in to the NYC kill shelter, so they reached out to us. This boy is so close to perfection that he makes you do a double take. Such a mellow, mild mannered, and low maintenance boy. He is housebroken, great in the car, and loves all those that he meets. Currently, he is in an NYC apartment and does great! A house would be perfect for him as well. Teddy loves to go on walks, but does not require much activity. With a natural smile that brightens the room, Teddy is a head turner everywhere he goes. As long as he can nap by your side, Teddy is happy as can be! A rock star, Teddy knows how to sit, shake, lay down, and walk like a complete gentleman. When he does not want to sit, Teddy always sneezes- as if to say excuse me! This boy loves to go on walks and dances to you when its time to go out. Teddy is not the active of pups so he would be perfect for a lower energy home or for a senior human. Teddy’s ideal home is one with school aged children or adults. He does perfectly well as an only pup or with a doggy side kick to explore the world with. If you work full time or have to leave the home, don’t worry! Teddy is perfectly behaved when left alone at home. You will not come home to any ‘surprises’. He will just snooze the day away and be happy to see you when you walk through that door!
