Duncan, this adorable and uniquely mixed boy is a 5-month-old olde english bulldog mix. His former family took him to the vet on Wednesday, and then dumped at a shelter on Thursday. Apparently they no longer wanted a dog that required eye surgery. Thus, the shelter vet, smitten with his stellar personality, called a Twenty Paws volunteer and explained to us what happened. We took him immediately and the shelter’s vet, because she adored him so, performed his eye surgery. This is completely unheard of for a municipal shelter. We were heart broken to find out what happened to Duncan, especially since he is such a sweet boy. Duncan made a full recovery through the complex surgery. He is now a peppy playful puppy eagar to please his future forever family! Duncan gets along with other dogs and simply loves other people. He would make a wonderful addition to any home.
