***GINGER ADOPTED 4/28/13 LIVING FOREVER FREE IN CT***

In the words of our volunteers who brought Ginger to her new home:
”By far the happiest adoption day I’ve ever been a part of. Her new parents Nancy and Jim are gentle, kind and remarkable animal advocates. Ginger took all of 30 seconds to adopt her new mom Nancy and they are simply perfect together. The rescued horse and rescued rabbit loved their new sister as well. It’s as if Ginger was reborn. Took a long walk with them through the hills and she made lunch for us and Ginger. When an adoption and day goes like this today, the world is simple and wonderful.”
Ginger has made her journey safe and sound to her new forever home. This adoption came to fruition by the power of face book. Once again another dog is rescued do to all the help we received for sharing Ginger’s story. All of you that cared enough to even read our girls story will forever have Ginger’s paw print on your heart!
Thank You Yvette and Cindy for your amazing work. Your sister and wonderful friend would proud and amazed by your dedication to saving her animals.

***URGENT***Sweet Senior (taken to vet for EUTH request, vet refused)

Meet our sweetest golden girl Ginger! Ginger’s mommy died on Sunday night, and a family member scheduled her for euthanasia on Monday at 8 am. Our team did plea with the family member to turn her over to us, however they denied us. Luckily, the vet refused to put Ginger down because there is NOTHING wrong with her. Finally, we have her in safe hands! The bad news is Ginger’s foster home is VERY temp about two weeks. We are looking for a special home for our Ginger. We would like to keep her in the NY, CT area. We will pay for the vetting for the life of Ginger and can even help with food etc. Ideally we would love an adopter but a long term foster would work as well. I am a 13 year old pure bred cocker spaniel girl weighing in at 24 pounds. I am spayed, utd on all shots, and housetrained. I am sweet as sugar and I get along with all dogs, cats, and birds too. I am perfect with children and love to watch them play. I need a new family to watch over me. I am deaf but I can see very well and can follow all commands. I do have some fatty tumors because I am not a puppy anymore, but they don’t hurt or bother me in any way and I move around just fine. I like to hang out with you and watch television from my doggy bed.
If you think you are the one to help Ginger live out her golden years with dignity and love PLEASE email us at twentypawsrescue@gmail.com
