Noel and Mia came to Twenty Paws’ attention by a desperate rescue woman in Georgia. She explained that for months these 2 angels lived an abused and neglected existence, forced to live outside and without shelter facing all the elements and seasons unprotected. Not once did she see them with food or water. They were left outside all day long tied to a trailer. Their only source of warmth was each other and digging a hole under the trailer to cuddle together in. Their owner was just waiting until they were old enough to breed. When rescued, Noel and Mia are 5 months. After an amazing time regaining their health in their foster home, Noel and Mia were adopted. The beauty that makes this a happier ending is that they were adopted by 2 sisters. So they will continue to live their lives together, forever developing and sharing their sisterly bond, just like their mothers.
