This is Millie; the face of sincere innocence. Millie was left in an abandoned apartment (in CT), chained to a bed post with nothing but a rusty bowl of dirty water. Millie is ONLY A BABY. The most horrible part of this story is nobody knows how long Millie sat there questioning if she has been left alone to die. Was she yearning and thinking someone will come for her? This story brings us to tears instantaneously. Through the fight for survival, Millie undeniably remains to be an outstanding little girl.
Millie is approximately an 11 month old pitbull mixed breed female. Currently, she is undergoing her vetting and will be spayed and microchipped prior to adoption. This far Millie has tested negative for heartworm and lyme. After her rescue, and her sense of safety Millie turned into a little firecracker – playful, tail waggy, loving, everything a puppy should be. Millie is a delicious bundle of puppy perfection. She LOVES being with humans, wanting to cuddle as close as she could get, bowling over for belly rubs, wagging her tail nonstop,. Since her rescue we have had a remarkable and gratifying transformation. Millie is lovely in her rich caramel and brindle coat. , She is a bit underweight due to her neglect. A perfect lady indeed, Millie has only had one accident in her temp foster home, a champ taking care of her business outside. She’s looking for a home ready to take on the commitment of some positive puppy training as she’s an active, energetic girl ready to be ushered into adulthood with a guiding and loving family. She won our hearts with her bravery and loving nature and will win yours too. Millie currently lives with her friend a male three year old pit bull. Millie is doing well with crate training, leash training and thoroughly enjoys squeaky toys.
