Tyler, AKA Tyrion Lannister, is a 2-3 year old, 25 lbs, French Bulldog, Shih Tzu, Pekingese concoction of a cutie. His long flowing hair hails directly from a Fabio romance novel. When we found him, Tyler was paralyzed- no command of his lower body. Due to an abusive event, Tyler had a herniated disc with hemorrhaging. The surgery saved his life, and allowed him to start walking again. In his foster since November, Tyler’s foster mom rehabilitated him. Now, he is now able to walk- all be it, he does walk with front wheel drive. His back legs do the cutest wiggle. Tyler is a loyal companion, obsessed with balls, and full of kisses. Really, he cannot hold his licker! He will cuddle with you in the most acrobatic positions and keep you warm at all times. His smushed face and expressive big brown eyes can easily transition from looking like a seal pup to a chubby walrus. Tyler gets along very well with other dogs; however, he is not the biggest fan of cats. He lives with a pit/lab and a senior bichon. His personality is infinite in size, and he prefers to hang out with the big dogs! He will take toys out of his pit foster sister’s mouth and run off with it- or steal them from right under her nose. He is certainly a vocal boy and loves to have conversations with you as well. Looking at Tyler, you would think he would have an old man’s voice. Once you get to know him, you quickly learn he would have a deep dramatic voice- much like a security agent. Always on alert on walks, he is constantly on guard- quick to alert his foster of any passersby, especially dogs.
He is wonderful for traveling and loves to sit in his foster mom’s purse. When in there, he does not move and just pokes his head out. When in the car, he loves to sit on your lap and doze off.
Due to his injuries and lack of sharing skills with objects, Tyler should not go into a home with children. Any fall or jump can reinjure him- however, nothing will stop him from performing his circus tricks!
