NINO ADOPTED ON 10/23/11 LIVING FOREVER FREE IN PENNSYLVANIA

Only a couple days after picking up our, at the time, latest rescue from the vet’s office, we got a concerning phone call. On the other end of the phone was our vet with a worried and distraught voice. For them, the day started out as any ordinary work day, until they reached the front outside of their building. There, the staff were greeted by a sweet little skeleton of a dog covered in a brindle coat with hips and ribs protruding. He was a gentle little emaciated young boxer. He was abandoned, exposed to the elements alone, cold, and famished. The vet took him in, called Twenty Paws, and in the meantime gave him a good vet check up. In no time Twenty Paws arrived to the office to meet this abandoned and lost soul. During Nino’s evaluation with Twenty Paws he was a perfect gentleman. With his expressive big brown eyes he told us, “I’m a good boy, what did I do to deserve this?” Moreover, even though we were complete strangers, Nino was extremely eager to please us. It was never a question, we had to step in to save him and find him a deserving family. Today our Nino lives like a regal king. His new family showers him with unconditional love; and, in no time, he was up to a healthy weight. Nino will never have to feel the pain of abandonment again. Nino adopted October 2011 living forever free in Pennsylvania.
